• We are active and have fun together. We have more than 30 events planned for the fall! We know that the bonds of brotherhood we forge in college will last a lifetime.  
• We help men who join to continually #RaiseYourBar. Gallup has shown that joining a fraternity is a good idea that has positive enduring impact. It's a good idea to join a fraternity, but a GREAT idea to join SigEp because we designed our continuous development program to maximize what our brothers get out of their fraternity and college experience.
• We take academics seriously. We have the #1 fraternity GPA at 3.52. We have faculty advisors and study sessions. We all came to Sac State looking for an education and SigEp is here to enhance that.
• We help our brothers become leaders. We offer members leadership opportunities in the chapter and encourage on campus & community involvement as well. We have local experiences like our chapter & district retreats and national leadership development programs.
• A SigEp wears the letters, not the other way around. We celebrate our brothers as individuals. We're all different in so many ways. We're looking for heroes. The X-Men aren't all clones. Neither are SigEps.
• A SigEp is never treated as "less than" by anyone. We recruit heroes. We want them to apply their talents to meaningful activities, for themselves, for the chapter and for the campus. We have no time for hazing in any form. "Equal rights and responsibilities from day one." Period.
• SigEp is a lifetime experience. SigEp alumni from many chapters help us out. They volunteer their time, talents and treasure. It's because they had a great experience and want to pay it forward. We'll even hook you up with an alumni career mentor from your field.
